The SBI FASTag facilitates transactions at toll plazas against the balance already available in the Tag account. It is the Tag holder's obligation to maintain a sufficient balance in the designated account to meet the toll transaction and service charges. The Bank, at its discretion may amend the Terms and Conditions governing SBI FASTag services. Tag holders will be notified of such changes through notification on the Bank's website which will be binding on the Tag holder. The Bank reserves the right to introduce new facilities or remove existing facilities as and when warranted, without assigning any reasons thereof.

SBI FASTag is mounted on the vehicle’s windscreen by the service provoder of the Bank available across the country,.SBI FASTag uses RFID technology to perform electronic toll payment transaction at the toll plaza . As the vehicle reaches the toll plaza, the Tag code is read by the the reader at the plaza, the number is then sent to the bank server through a process..Bank deducts applicable toll charges from customers SBI FASTag account.
